Microsoft Office 2010 (64-bit)
If you have "Microsoft Office 2010 (64-bit)" installed on your computer, it's likely to prevent Cashbook Complete from being able to automatically install the required "Microsoft Access 2010 Runtime". Although "Office" and the "Access Runtime" are both Microsoft products, they're incompatible with each other.
What Can You Do?
If you currently have "Microsoft Office 2010 (64-bit)" installed, then you'll need to do one of the following:-
- Uninstall "Microsoft Office 2010 (64-bit)", then reinstall "Microsoft Office 2010 (32-bit)" only; or
- Uninstall "Microsoft Office 2010 (64-bit)", then upgrade to a different version of Microsoft Office *
* Any other version of Microsoft Office should work fine with Cashbook, regardless of whether it's 32-bit or 64-bit, but we would recommend using 32-bit versions to avoid potential issues. This is in line with Microsoft's recommendations to use 32-bit versions of Office in order to minimise conflicts (see here).
Important: After doing either of the above, you can download and reinstall Cashbook and the Microsoft Access 2010 Runtime" will be automatically installed.
